We all want to be able to launch applications faster, without having to fill up our desktops with countless icons. Among the many solutions you can explore, Launcher is one worth mentioning. This application with a simple name lets you organize shortcuts for anything, including files, apps and websites. It's a good pick if you work with a large number of apps each day and wish to be able to run them faster. The software is also a good pick if you have a number of portable apps you run from a USB drive on other computers. Instead of looking for their executables, you can launch them at a moment's notice with this piece of software.

Although it comes with a price tag, the software has a fully-functional trial version, which you can use for 30 days. You can download its setup file and install its core components in under a minute, without any kind of difficulties. The hardware requirements are modest, and you don't have to worry about meeting any special requirements.

You can organize shortcuts in a tree structure, which takes up most of the user interface. The controls on the left side of the window allow you to create and name folders and sub-folders, create separators, add new shortcuts for various content types and much more. Of course, clicking and dragging shortcuts, files or other contents to the user interface is another possibility.

As previously mentioned, the software can be quite useful if you need to run portable apps from a USB flash drive, to fix someone's computer for example, but it can be beneficial if you use it on your main system as well. Besides having everything you need neatly organized in a tree structure, you can also find your shortcuts in a system of menus and sub-menus if you right-click the software's system tray icon. Since it doesn't use a significant amount of resources, you can let Launcher run constantly in the background and launch any app you need, jump to a folder or go to a website at a moment's notice, and keep your desktop clean at the same time, all thanks to a simple system tray icon.

All your usual apps and websites can be within immediate reach thanks to Launcher's simple and efficient functionality.

Pros

The software works quietly in the background and enables you to run applications, launch websites and more quickly and easily. You can organize shortcuts for anything on your computer. It is also possible to organize shortcuts for a portable app collection on a removable drive.

Cons

The save function doesn't work after a while.
